Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Reiki can be translated as Universal Life Energy. It activates and stimulates the natural healing process and helps clear and unblock stagnant energy fields. Reiki can be used to address physical, mental, emotional or spiritual issues.

Reiki is very gentle, non-invasive and can do no harm. The animal decides if and how much Reiki they want to accept. As an animal Reiki practitioner, I’m offering the animal a support system, that the animal can use to relax, self-heal and re-balance.

Reiki can be given in the physical presence of the animal or in a distant healing session. Distant healing is very effective and, in some instances, can be even preferable to in-person treatments. Some animals may be extremely fearful of strangers, feral or fragile and may be better able to absorb Reiki outside of my presence.

It is important to note, that Reiki is NOT a substitute for medical diagnosis and treatment. I do not diagnose, prescribe or perform a medical treatment. Reiki treatment does not interfere with any treatment of a licensed medical professional and ongoing medical treatments should not be discontinued based on Reiki sessions.
